Tips For Women To Improve Their Confidence

Confidence is the most attractive feature one can have. Of course, there is a fine line between someone being confident and overly confident (often time called “cocky”), but often times it is better to possibly be overly confident than not confident at all. Confidence plays a huge factor in the work place. Co-workers respect you more if you have it, as do the people you report to; like your bosses. People put their faith in you and essentially give you the time of day. It’s a virtue that you just can’t buy. So how do you boost your confidence so you can get ahead in society? Well, follow these tips below and you will be good to go!

1 – Be optimistic: Confident people never let things get them down because they know that everything is going to work out for the best in the end. This attitude is what makes others gaze upon them with amazement. They always seem to be so headstrong even during the toughest of times.

2 - Never be jealous, be supportive. If somebody has something you want, you should never display jealousy or any type of envy towards that person. This shows that you are a weak person who goes after the perks of other people’s lives. The best thing you can do if somebody has what you want is to support them and be happy for them. This will help you exude confidence by showing you are happy with what you have in your own life.

3 - Talk to loved ones about your strengths. Sometimes, people may get down on themselves about certain personality traits or something about them. This essentially gives the person a bad self-esteem. The best way to lift your self-esteem, and inevitably your confidence, is to talk to your loved ones about what makes you the unique, great person that you are. You can ask anyone from your parents, to your sister or brother, to your friends, or to your girlfriend or boyfriend. Essentially, anyone who is close to you will be able to give you some reasons why they like being around you. Take it to heart.

4 - Disarm negative vibes. Everyone has that person in their life who is, what some may call, a “Debbie Downer.” This is the person that finds any positive situation and turns it negative. They can find something wrong with even the happiest of moments. These type of people drag down those around them. If you see one of your friends or someone you hang around with often acting like this, then maybe you should take some time apart. Venture off on your own and let your positively good attitude thrive because once it does, you will feel better overall.

5 - Copy confidence. This tip is helpful if you know somebody who is confident in the areas that you aspire to be. Mimic their ways. Learn what it is exactly that makes them so confident to you. Once you figure it out, you will be able to apply these things to your own life.

What Is Holding You Back From Success?

What’s causing that inner turmoil within your body? What’s causing the discord? What’s pulling you apart and threatening to tear the very fiber that holds you together?

Are you not supposed to be happy, in control, in charge of your life and enjoying the life that you were born to live?

Then, why do you feel dissatisfied, unfulfilled, and unhappy? What is this silent restlessness? Why are you not content with the way things are?

Perhaps you are a career driven woman with great professional qualifications and expertise. You have finally got the job you have desired for so long— the job of your dreams. However, now that you have it, you are wondering why you even desired it! The job pays well and you are in the right position, but you want something else, something more, another job and this is not it. What is really going on?

Perhaps you have been feeling empty and unfulfilled. You feel as though something is missing inside you, but you can’t seem to place your finger on what exactly it is. You don’t even know clearly what it is you are looking for, but you feel the need to be introspective and to try and figure it all out. You just want to be alone, to stay away from social activities and to kind of cut down on fun time. You need to think and be clear about your life. What is really going on?

Perhaps people think that you are the luckiest person in the world. They envy you because they think that you have got things moving in your direction. Just because you come from the “right family” and from the “right side of the tracks,” they think that your life “rocks”. What they don’t know is that deep down inside, you don’t feel lucky, you feel empty and unfulfilled, you are hurting inside and you don’t know why. You want to cry for help but you dare not, you want people to see you for who you are, to know that you are not super human and that things are falling apart in your life…what is really going on?

Perhaps you are the “invisible” person who wants to be visible, to be recognized as a “person” and to be recognized for your work. You want to be someone in society, and to move from nowhere to somewhere. You are frustrated because none of these things you desire seem to be happening in your life. You constantly wonder why things seem to fall in place for others but not for you. You feel like a victim of circumstances and you just want to scream and tell people “Hey! Stop! Look at me, consider me, value my contribution …I am IT! I am the real deal!” What is really going on?

To find yourself you need to ask yourself three simple questions:

1. Who are you?

Consider your values… what do you stand for? What’s really important to you? Think about this question from the truth that you know deep down inside. Can you describe who you are and what you represent? Who do your friends say you are? Do you believe them? If you don’t, then who are you? Don’t be influenced by what you or others think that you “should “be. Look within and give yourself honest feedback.

2. What do you want?

What are your dreams, desires and expectations or goals in life? What do you want to accomplish in life? Write everything down and ponder about point carefully. Ask yourself why “what you want” is really important to you.

3. Where are you now and how will you get to where you want to be?

Consider who you are today...how do you feel about the person that you are today? How about what you are doing? How do you feel about your work? If you are not satisfied with who you are and what you do— what will you do to ensure that you begin to live the life that you want? How will you do it? By when will you do it? Decide what you need to do, commit to it and do it.Finally, get in touch with your true self, align your life with your purpose and begin to lead a fulfilling life! You know the answer, it lies within you.
